We found our first DEP State Forest box today at Cockaponset State
Forest; exchanged with two fellow boxers, picked up a hitchhiker and
had 7 large white-tailed deer cross our trail!
What a gorgeous day to be outside without "thermals" on. The
trails were pretty icy, slushy and very muddy; but it was a lovely
day. Also hit the two Reservoir Walk boxes at Pattaconk Park.
The "Hoppy" HH will be back on the move again soon.
Happy Trails,

Bluebird,
The road was muddy and slippery, but definately open.

Persons 'boxing in CT may want to put big knobby tires on
their mini-vans .

We found the #24 Nassahegon State Forest LB without any trouble,
parking is a little tight at the gate though. The winter parking area
"down" the road, was filled with paintballer cars.
Aili and Bruce - we took your advice and stopped at the Landing Zone for
those burgers - WOW.
